Dress is what you feel like. No BYOB. Reservations under Gibson. The dining room is big in case you have a last minute, "What the heck". Come and have a Calvados toast with the B-Day boy and some good times in general.

hey now, would a $50 bill garner a fairly good time there? If I were in the NY area I'd bring my stealth flask...is there a smokin area to enjoy a fine Arturo Fuente? Cali usually covers such diversions of fun :)

I'd go with an Avo Classic, but I don't know the details of NYC fascistic rules governing smoking. Forget all restaurants and public places. Clubs? A park bench at Columbus Circle?

Yeah, you could have a good time w/ $50 bucks. You'd be w/us. ;-)

I actually think Mary Jane and tobacco are at the same place in many ways in NYC. Just sayin'.

Yes it was. Good food and excellent conversation.

unclejohn gave me some E'72 for my B-day (actually Cliff's top picks) and I have to say listening to them for the first time that I am totally blown away by the audio quality. I never got that tour until now. It's like finding new and amazing GD music.

Good food, good people... what more could you ask? The conversation ranged from politics, religion, raising children, families... and the GD. It would have been great to see more forumites, but I enjoyed the time and the company.
